Christian? It’s time to stand up!

In America we have run amok in our quest for political correctness. We are afraid of calling our grandparents
grandma and grandpa for fear of offending their advanced years. Political correctness would be comical if it
were not for the serious ramifications that are the result.
Christians have become the only social group in America that it’s alright to discriminate against. We can be
insulted, made fun of, looked down on and very few come to our defense. But when we are denied our civil
liberties and denied our rights as citizens of this country to practice our Faith, it’s time we stand up.

Christians in this country for to long have stayed in our sanctuaries singing our songs, saying our prayers and
shouting our amen’s while we let  “so called Christians” otherwise known as radical bigot’s march up and
down our streets carrying their placards, spewing hateful rhetoric in the Name of God. Are these the people we
want to represent us?
Or is it the television preacher who preaches with a pointed finger while his or her life style goes in a different
direction. Is it the church that’s so dead and dry that their services are more boring than reading Google’s
financial prospectus…

I say it’s time the real Christian community stands up and involves itself in today’s culture or history will view us
as a sad footnote.
